Who we are

ParentVibes is the content and tools platform from ParentVibes, a parenting community supporting families from first hope to first steps. Our mission is to make trustworthy, jargon-free information about conception, pregnancy, and raising children easy to find when parents need it most.

How we research and write

Every health-related article starts from reputable, current sources — including the World Health Organization (WHO), the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP), the NHS, ACOG, and peer-reviewed medical literature. We summarise that guidance in plain language and, wherever it matters, point you back to the original source or to your own doctor.

We write to inform, not to alarm. We avoid false precision, we describe ranges and averages rather than guarantees, and we clearly mark general information as distinct from a personal diagnosis.

Medical review

We are building a medical advisory panel of OB-GYNs and paediatricians to review our educational content. As that panel grows, health articles will carry a named 'Medically reviewed by' byline. Until an article is individually reviewed, it reflects our editorial standards and cited sources rather than the opinion of a named clinician — and it is never a substitute for your own doctor.

You can see the current state of our review process on the Medical Experts page.

Use of AI

We sometimes use AI tools to help draft, structure, or summarise content, and to power features such as article summaries and our parenting companion. AI-assisted content is checked by a human against reputable sources before it is published. AI is never used to invent medical claims, and our parenting companion offers organisational support and general guidance — not diagnosis.

Accuracy and corrections

Medical understanding evolves, and we update articles as guidance changes. If you spot something that looks out of date or incorrect, please tell us and we will review it promptly. Material corrections are reflected in the page's 'last updated' date.

Advertising and affiliate disclosure

ParentVibes is free to use. To keep it that way, we show advertising (including Google AdSense) on some content pages, and some links — for example to baby products on Amazon or FirstCry — are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Advertising and affiliate relationships never determine our editorial recommendations. We do not let advertisers influence the substance of our health content, and product picks reflect genuine usefulness to parents. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies work and how to control them.

Independence from medical partners

We list and partner with clinics and healthcare professionals. Editorial content and tools are kept independent of these commercial relationships, and a partnership is never a substitute for your own choice of clinician.

Our editorial workflow

Every article moves through the same steps, from research to review to ongoing updates.

  1. 1

    Plan & research

We start from real questions parents ask, then gather guidance from recognised authorities — WHO, IAP, NHS, ACOG — and peer-reviewed literature.

  2. 2

    Draft in plain language

We write jargon-free, India-aware content that explains the 'why', not just the 'what'.

  3. 3

    Human fact-check

Any AI-assisted drafting is checked by a person against reputable sources. AI is never used to invent medical claims.

  4. 4

    Medical review

Health content is reviewed by a qualified doctor and carries a named 'Medically reviewed by' byline.

  5. 5

    Publish with dates

Every article shows who wrote it, who reviewed it, when it was published, and when it was last updated.

  6. 6

    Monitor & update

We re-review evergreen content on a schedule; any material correction updates the 'last updated' date.

Sources & citations policy

  • We cite recognised health authorities and, where possible, link directly to the primary source so you can read it yourself.
  • We do not fabricate citations, and AI is never used to invent studies, statistics, or medical claims.
  • Where guidance differs by country, we say so — schedules and recommendations for India may differ from the UK or US.
  • If we cannot verify a claim against a reputable source, we do not publish it.

Content update policy

  • Evergreen guides are reviewed on a recurring schedule and whenever guidance from our source authorities changes.
  • Material corrections are reflected in the page's 'last updated' date so you always know how current it is.
  • Health content is periodically re-reviewed by a medical reviewer; the 'last reviewed' date reflects that check.
  • Spotted something that looks wrong? Email support@parentvibes.in and we will review it.
